Reset Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime

See how to complete the reset Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime on here. I have added the process below. To enhance security, anti-theft must be enabled. This requires your PIN before anyone can reset your device. Consequently, remember to always turn off anti-theft and erase your device before selling or giving it away. This ensures the new owner can activate and use the device normally.

Reset Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime

When you reset the Galaxy J7 Prime to factory settings, all original and factory settings will be applied. It’s important to note that resetting the device to factory settings will not undo any software updates. Therefore, it is recommended to make a backup before resetting the Galaxy J7 Prime to factory settings. This helps prevent the loss of personal data stored in the internal memory, such as images, applications, and contacts. Likewise also see the Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Note 9 as well as the article that I wrote on the Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

To reset your Galaxy J7 Prime, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Home screen. Choose Apps.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Scroll down and choose Cloud and accounts.
4. Choose Backup and restore.
5. Optional: Under GOOGLE ACCOUNT, turn off Back up my data. Choose the back symbol.
6. Choose the back symbol again.
7. Additionally choose General management.
8. Likewise then choose Reset.
9. Choose Factory data reset.
10. Scroll down and choose RESET.
11. Enter the current screen lock code.
12. Additionally choose NEXT.
13. Choose DELETE ALL.

At this point, all data and settings saved on the Galaxy J7 Prime will be deleted. The device will automatically reset and reboot. Once the Galaxy J7 Prime has rebooted, you can disable anti-theft during the startup configuration.
