Hard Reset Sony Xperia Z3 Plus

resetThe Sony Xperia Z3 Plus can be hard reset much like the reset of the Sony Xperia E1 on this website. You can find the instructions on doing the factory reset listed below. Much like the other Sony mobile phones you will note that the reset process is almost the same for the Sony range of mobile phones. As always it is best to backup your mobile phone and then do the factory reset as all the data such as passwords, WiFi settings and photos will all normally be deleted. You do this at your own risk. APN settings and all will be gone.

As stated above, that you should backup your phone before you reset the phone. The hard rest will be the same as any other phone in that it will go back to its factory default. This means that you phone after the reset will be the same as when you bought the phone short of anything else which the distributor might have added. You should visit the Sony website for backup software and backup the phone onto your computer and then restore the phone with the data again after the reset. This is normally only done when people are going to sell their mobile phone. If you have damaged your mobile phone and you need to send it away from an insurance claim then you should also backup your phone and reset it if it is for something like a cracked screen as your data will then not be copied. See the reset processes below. This reset can be done via the menu or by entering the code as listed below.
