Also ensure that you mobile phone is fully charged as you do not want the reset process to stop because of a flat battery. Most people only do this factory reset when they are selling their mobile phone and need to clear all their data and other personal settings and photos. This is because it cannot be recovered once the delete has been completed.

1. Ensure that the battery fully charged;
2. Now Power Off the mobile phone;
3. Hold Volume Down + Power Key down together;
4. The LG Logo appears so release the keys and press the Power Key again;
5. Use the Volume Key to select Yes or No;
6. Press the Power Button to select and the Volume Key to confirm;
7. The phone will now start the reset process.

1. Turn on your mobile phone;
2. Ensure that the mobile phone is charged;
3. Go to the menu and click on Settings;
4. Now click on  Backup and reset;
5. Now click on  Factory Data Reset;
6. Click on  Reset Device
7. Choose Erase Everything and the phone will now reset on its own.
