These are needed for phone functions such as resetting call timers. Each manufacturer has a different PIN. The PINs are:
Nokia - 12345
Siemens - *#9999*
Ericsson - 0000
Mitsubishi - 0000
Motorola - go to call timers menu, click on call timers, click on show call timers, click ok and enter PIN 2
